THUNDERCATS...HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I love that im in my late 20's and get to relive my child hood still. The newest installation to remaking 80's franchise are the Thundercats. The new series will be dropping 2011.

From the article I read on mtv.com
" According to the studio, the new series will appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers to the universe of Lion-O and his Thunderan brethren.
Calling it "a sweeping tale combining swords and science and boasting ferocious battles with the highest of stakes," the studio offered some hints about what the new "Thundercats" series will involve, including "the grand origin story of Prince Lion-O’s ascension to the throne – and of those who would thwart his destiny at any cost."
For the project, WBA will collaborate with noted Japanese animation Studio4°C (“The Animatrix,” “Gotham Knights”), who will update the characters' look for the series.
"Thundercats" will be executive produced by Sam Register (“Teen Titans,” “Ben 10,” “Batman: The Brave and the Bold”), with Michael Jelenic (“Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” “Wonder Woman”) and Ethan Spaulding (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”) as producers. "

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!

New movie in the works. It's a 7min trailer with a fight scene in the middle. This move looks very promising. I remember geeking out the first time the movie came out even though it had the freakin Highlander as Raiden. Wat is up with hollywood casting non-asian actors for asian characters. I think their was one middle eastern guy in Prince of Persia. Oh and it has Black Dynamite as Jack, an obvious WIN.

Sketches

I sketch constantly. Alot of times its really rough, but some can be more detailed. I only get a quick glimpse of it in my head and if I don't sketch it quick enough I loose it. That's very annoying. Also, some just stay in my head until I fart it out of my hands. Its weird like that. Click on the jump to see the rest of them.

EL TORO X METHODS NCY SUMMER 2010

 The arrival is here! For this summer collaboration tee with Methods NYC I went with a Mecha-Toro rampaging the streets. I love big robots when I was a kid from Voltez V, Mazinger Z, Ultraman (i know not a robot), Big-O and Volron. Methods did a bang up job in the printing for this tee.
Also, this is the first appearance of the lil' kid side kick/friend of EL TORO. He made an appearance on the skate deck for the Deck Heads show, but technically I drew him up first for this tee.

This is my favorite shirt out of the line up. The pink and gold on the black tee is killer. Also, that pig graphic is dope as hell. ABAKUS TAKEOUT 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Last Sunday my good friends at Abakus celebrated their 2 year anniversary. It's really nice to see that with the economy slumping and every one saying we're in a recession, the great still succeed and float on top. I remember 3 years back sooo many street wear shops in Philly. You had your choices on where to cop the new shit, but u know what? No one held it down like what Abakus is doing now. Respect the game fellas.

For their 2nd year party they released a limited edition collaboration with Crooks N Castles. Mixing the iconic Crooks n Castle Medusa head with Abakus' takeout boxes. 30 white tees & 30 black tees. The black ones sold out in like an hour and the white ones quickly followed. They also had new snap back hats that they collaborated with Philly's own Mitchell and Ness. Sorry for the lack of pics on these products. You can kinda see it in the video below.
