RUSKO AT WEBSTER HALL, NYC
Rusko is rocking my tee from Methods NYC while he performed at Webster Hall last weekend. Crazy how he picked my design out of the stock pile of shirts Methods has to offer. So excited that he picked mine and all the kids in the crowd were checking that shit out. Check out the rest of the fliks and videos from the event on the Methods NYC Blog.

Transformers War for Cybertron
I LOVE that they used the old sounds from the G1 Cartoon and also that raspy voice for the intro. Classic G1 cartoon feel to the whole thing with bigger explosions and better animation. Also, noticed that Cybertron itself is a transformer, one scene when Optimus was riding to stop Starscream, the planet looked like it was transforming new roads. I am super stoked to see this come out. They haven't made a quality Transformer game ever! That ps2 game was ok cuz you could transform at will, but the game play got really old. I heard this 1 you can transform at will and you can also be a flying decepticon. That's gonna freakin rule! oh and 2 story modes 1 for Autobot and 1 for Decepticons. Obviously im gonna beat the Decepticons story line first.

Friends with Benefits video from opening night
I love the new HBO series "How to make in America". The intro song by Aloe Blacc is so appropriate and very contagious once you hear it. I had to do my own rendition and sync it to the pictures from the opening night. The series really inspires you to get your hustle on and go after your dream. I know its just a show, but it really hits home. The struggles getting to your goal just makes it getting there feels so much better. Thank you Lemara and Landon for providing the pics.

Real recognize real
When i was out putting flyers for the Friends with Benefits show this past Saturday, I was stopped by Lamara, a photographer/blogger from Uk studying abroad here in Temple. She stopped me as I was admiring a new Michael DeFeo sticker on Walnut st, along with so many other Philly street artists. We talked about graffiti and Philadelphia street culture and she taped the whole thing. I do got to apologize to Michael De Feo, since I credited Peter Fowler as being the Flower guy. With my mind thinking of good and precise answers for Lamara, I totally made the mistake of crediting the wrong dude. Peter Fowler kicks butt too! Michael De Feo was speaking at University of Penn last week and pasted a few of his iconic flower graphic.

New-ish graphics
Had some vectors from past projects a few that got made that's now tweaked and a few that just never saw the light of day. For some reason the reaper reminds me of mum-ra from Thundercats and I made EL TIGRE Cringer version. Gonna be printing these guys as stickers for sticker packs for the Friends with Benefits show in April 3rd.

14 Bolt is my homie
Man what a great package from my man on the west coast 14 Bolt. If you don't know about him I suggest lookin at his flickr page. This man does work! He's been in the game before I knew the game even existed! He took a hiatus and now he's back makin waves in the sticker art world. I met him once in LA and he is a fun loving lil spanish dude who is great to hang out with and always crackin' jokes. Check out this awesome pack from him. He included tons of his own vinyl, collabs and also a bunch of others from trades i think. Also, hooked it up wit a slick hand drawn and a west coast writer that i cant read, but i know he's gotta b older since the crews he represents have been established for a while.

Recently found out about QHUB and made a page where you can post sticker and street art related questions and I try to answer them. It's kinda like formspring, but way less pervy. Haha
Trying to educate and help younger artists with the questions everyone had starting out in the sticker obsession. Go ahead what do you wanna know? Visit stickers.qhub.com

Stand Out Stickers
You might notice the latest add on to the right of the blog. I am starting to put some quality companies I have found to help guide some people in the companies that I've used, heard about and trusted in the past. I get asked a lot about stickers and who to go for printing. So my first link up there is a company called StandOut Stickers. Josh? passed me the link first and then I found another posting on iamthetrend.com about them. I decided to take a further look and see what they are all about. See what I found out after the jump...

Stole this write up from Vinylpulse and the image flyer from ToysRevil blog. I was too lazy to type about it and they are so much better explaining.

Now the show is moving onto its next milestone – the first gallery exhibition which opens @ Black Maria this Thursday, February 18th (7 – 10:30 PM).

Hazardous Toro Ahead
A new take on the bone versions of TORO i've drawn in the past. Ive been wanting to do that effect on the eyes for awhile on something and never had the right piece till now.
This is an 8x8 acrylic canvas. I got a gift card from my gf on my bday and finally got to splurge on some supplies at Utrecht and the following week I ended up getting more canvases at Blick. Ridiculous sales are happening since art kids are coming back in school. I picked up like 6 of these 8x8's. I think it'll look real neat once they are all hung up.
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, I just got NBA2k10 and that's occupying my time alot. hah
And thanks to Revok for putting me on to Die Antwoord from South Africa. Just watch and enjoi the jeenyus of Die Anterwood!
